The wildlife encounters were unforgettable, and we were lucky enough to see all the Big Five, as well as a family of cheetahs! A special mention goes to our guide, Zablon. His extensive knowledge of wildlife and plants, sharp eye for spotting animals and enthusiasm made the safari truly special. He was always attentive, answered our questions thoroughly and made every effort to give us the best possible wildlife sightings. His friendly manner also made the longer drives enjoyable. The accommodation added to the experience, with beautiful rooms and distinctive settings. Sleeping surrounded by nature and watching the sunrise right outside our tent at Ang’ata Tarangire Camp were definite highlights. The warm hospitality of the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. A wonderful journey full of memorable moments that we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a safari adventure. Many thanks to Zablon for being such an outstanding guide!

He is fluent in german, english and many local languages. He has so much knowledge about Namibia, its Flora and Fauna and the different Cultures. We always felt safe while driving around and visiting the different cities. Simon is kind, friendly and we had some great conversations - he is open to answer any question and is very patient and open to requests regarding the trip and he always went the extra mile, e.g. so everyone could get great pictures or see all the wild animals we could find. He is very knowledgeable about his country and shared his knowledge along the way. He had eagle eyes for animals and on several occasions stopped and pointed out animals that no one else in the vehicle had seen. That included two lionesses resting under a tree right next to the road. That was an amazing experience. He also used his experience to position the vehicle in the best spot when animals were about to cross the road. So we had 'front seat' views of black Rhino and Elephants crossing the road directly in front of us. I was very happy with Obi's driving skills as he did his best to reduce the impact of the corrugated roads on the vehicle and the passengers!
