Safari Guide
The moment Faraja saw an elephant for the first time as a young boy, he knew, he wanted to spend his career working with the gentle giants. Fast-forward a number of years, he holds a Diploma in Tourism and Animal Behaviour from the renowned College of African Wildlife Management Mweka in Moshi.
Faraja joined our team in 2013 and enjoys going on safari with families in particular. Having everyone together, sharing stories over lunch in the bush puts a big smile on his face.
To him safari is not only about ticking off the Big Five, but educating his guests about the social structures and behaviour of animals and the fragile ecosystems they live in. He enjoys travelling to the southern parks Ruaha, Selous and Mikumi.
Having studied in Germany, getting to know a different culture, he looks forward to sharing Tanzania’s culture with his guests.
