Ndelilio became a certified guide in 2012 and joined our team in 2022.

His love for interacting with people initially led him to the hospitality industry. After working in lodges, he pursued a career as a guide to showcase the beauty of Tanzania to guests from around the world.

He enjoys leading small groups and individual families or couples, and he has a liking for telling jokes. Ndelilio possesses extensive knowledge of Tanzania’s wildlife, with a particular passion for botany, especially medicinal plants.

Ndelilio has had numerous unforgettable moments as a guide, but one that stands out is the occasion when a pride of lions attempted to attack a herd of buffalo in Serengeti National Park. Buffaloes can be extremely dangerous, and it is unusual for lions to target such massive animals. Witnessing this dramatic sight was a rare and incredible experience.
