Originally from Bavaria, Germany, Carina left a career as an accountant to follow her passion for Africa.
Passionate about ecotourism and community-based conservation, she has volunteered on several projects since 2022, including with EHRA (Elephant-Human Relations Aid) in Namibia.
In 2024, she completed her FGASA Level 2 Field Guide training. She then gained experience as a Travel Expert in Germany, and in 2026 she made Namibia her permanent home, settling in Swakopmund with her Namibian husband.
Having travelled extensively, she brings knowledge of Namibia, South Africa, and Botswana to every itinerary she crafts, ensuring each trip is as unique as the traveller.
Her favourite destination is Damaraland, with its vast landscapes, local communities, and desert-adapted elephants.
Carina speaks English and German and looks forward to helping you plan your African adventure.
