Born in Johannesburg, Thandie grew up across the world — in Namibia, India, Mali, Papua New Guinea, France, Sweden and Spain — and is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Catalan.

This rich, multicultural upbringing gives her a truly global perspective, which she brings to her role at Africa-Experience.

Africa, however, has always been closest to her heart. A sentiment born out of exploration. From a year-long overland journey from Cape Town to Egypt to a six-week camping trip through Namibia, Botswana and South Africa.

Botswana is one of her favourite countries — especially the wildlife-rich areas of Moremi, Chobe and the Nxai Pans, where every visit feels like a new discovery.

After studying filmmaking and audiovisual communication, Thandie earned a master’s in digital communication. She uses her creative skills to tell Africa’s story and inspire others to experience this extraordinary continent.
